Caiazzo is a little town located about 45 min from Napoli. Approximately 5,000 people live in this place located on the top of a hill. This 2,500 years old town is becoming famous thanks to an excellent pizzeria called “Pepe in Grani“. Besides this pizzeria that is attracting the attention of people from several countries, the town offers a relaxing atmosphere ideal for a day trip. Surrounding this bucolic place there are olive oil producers, wineries, olive plantations, and one of the best mozzarella cheese maker called “Caseificio il Casolare“. If you would like to avoid the tourists of Naples, enjoy a relaxing day trip in the countryside and try one of the best pizzas in the world, I recommend a dinner at Pepe in Grani. You may want to book a table a few weeks prior to your arrival.
