You may not bring someone here to wine and dine, but if you are in Cremona it is a must to make a stop at Sperlari. Established in 1836, this candy shop never changed address (Via Solferino 25). The founder, Mr. Enea Sperlari, knew how to combine his entrepreneur mindset with the family secrets of how to make nougat (torrone) and candid fruit (mostarda). At this same he dedicated his life to the production of one of the best torrone and mostarda of Italy, always improving the manufacturing process and searching for top quality ingredients. Torrone and mostarda are, actually, one of the famous gastronomic specialties of Cremona.
